The Waterfalls of NC

I went to DuPont State Forest with my family in early July and we had a lot of fun. They have four waterfalls but we only could visit one because we didn't have a lot of time, High Falls. It was very beautiful and I got to take lots of good pictures.

The water was very powerful but sounded so smooth at the same time. It was such a peaceful and majestic time at High Falls in North Carolina.

We also saw a snake chilling on a rock there. It was very calm and didn't move very much. We were afraid at first but then we got closer. It was scaly with a brown coat on top and a peach coat on the bottom. It's moments like this that makes me love photography.
